    Leadership

Marc Ashton grew up in Phoenix, graduating from Brophy College Prep and Northern Arizona University.  Marc started his career in television, but he was entrepreneurial at heart and left television for the business world, eventually starting his own business.

Marc’s world changed when he found out his new son was blind at just 3 months old.  Foundation for Blind Children became a part of the Ashton family from that day forward. Marc served as a volunteer, then a board member and officer. In 2007, Marc sold his business, and he became the CEO of the Foundation for Blind Children.

Marc led blind students to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, in a swim to Alcatraz, rim to rim of the Grand Canyon, and sailing the Spanish Virgin Islands.
